Special Training Opportunity for OHNSW Members !

We are thrilled to share an exclusive offer from our good colleague Elaine Rabbitt of Goolarri Media who is generously offering two free places for OHNSW members at her upcoming oral history training in Coffs Harbour this November.

This two-day in-person course is a fantastic opportunity for members looking to deepen their skills in oral history practice. Because places are limited and valuable, we’re inviting expressions of interest to ensure the opportunity is taken up by Oral History NSW members who can commit to attending.

Key Details:

  • Who can apply: Current financial members of Oral History NSW

  • What’s included: Free registration for the two-day training. (You will be asked to formally enrol in the course by no later than Wednesday 5th November.)

  • What’s not included: Travel and accommodation (these must be self-funded)

  • Location: Yarrila Arts and Museum 27 Gordon St COFFS HARBOUR

To apply

Please email secretary@oralhistorynsw.org.au by Friday 31 October 5pm with:

  • Your name and location

  • A brief statement (max 200 words) on why you’d like to attend this course and your previous oral history experience.

Confirmation that you are available to attend both days of the course in full and can travel to Coffs Harbour

  • Agreement to write and submit a blog post (max 400 words) about your experience for the Oral History NSW website and newsletter within one month of the course.
